In 2004, Zahi Hawass announced that the University of Birmingham (UK) was performing an extensive ground-penetrating radar study of the area between the Sphinx and Great Pyramid to find the tunnels and chambers there. Hawass also related that the tunnel under the Sphinx had not been fully cleared of debris.
2004 has passed and those studies have probably finished, but the same university seems to be doing more research this year, as we find out from http://www.eridu.co.uk/Author/News_and_ ... views.html, Alan Alford's site:
2005 promises to be a year of discovery at the Great Pyramid of Giza. Zahi Hawass has announced plans for a further investigation of the Queen's Chamber shafts using a new robot designed by the University of Singapore. As in 2002, this will probably be filmed live by the National Geographic Channel. In addition, a team from my university (Birmingham, UK) will be using radar to map the subterranean strata in and around the Great Pyramid.

Under the ear there seems to be a cavity with something inside which reminds the shape of a button. If you look down a little bit further under the ear there is another thing which Looks like a pedestal, something one can stand on? There are no such things at the other side of the head.
Wouldn't it be great if we built our own pyramid imagine the possibilities !

There is a recent confirmation of the new University of Birmingham prospecting work using radar mapping mentioned in my previous post on this topic. See the topic "October 2005 Exploration of the Queen's Chamber" in the "General Science and Technology" forum.
Regarding the pending exploration of the queen's chamber, contrary to the abovequoted previous expectation that the exploration would be filmed live, the new announcement states it is not going to be.

A New York psychic, Elizabeth Bacon, said, during a reading, that Thoth buried his Hall of Records near the Sphinx and pyramids. Intriguingly, the Edfu Texts describe the Hall as being, "a pyramid shaped entrance hall surrounded by 12 cylindrical chambers" [the Chambers of Creation], each containing material from a different branch of knowledge. There may be medical equipment, communications equipment, evidence of air travel. If you translate the Edfu Texts literally there is even mention of "power tools".

Another book "The Pyramid Giza" where a man claims to enter the top of the pyramid via a secret chamer, using vibration sounds. (a nice fairy tale if not true)
Ive asked my sister about what she knows of the sphinx and she said that there is a prophecy that if someone goes under there and comes back alive then he will bring death to all the world i think. I wonder whats under their.....hmmmm. So that explains why the government is scared. Im thinking it might be a deadly virus or something, and maybe im wrong.
I bet it was made to keep people out...example you start a myth that says, who ever goes down there will die, so everybody is afraid and nobody goes down there, and then what you build is a force field similar to a doko and you store all your intelligent information, technology, ect, for a time when people will be intelligent enough to open it up and use it for greater purposes, and gee, you could even have the people of thiaoouba to watch over it, so that if anybody does try and open it with out any real spiritual understanding , they can stop them...
Well, i said 'button-like' not an actual thing that 'looks' like our buttons would look.
I am also reminded of the idea of the original sphinx head to be from a lion, changed later [by ??] to a human [pharoah's?] head. So was this button looking rectangle 'thingie' just from more modern restoration work, or does it reveal 'what lies beneath'?
Hey guys I am actually going to Egypt on April 14th to go and see the pyramids + sphinx. If anyone has any requests such as certain photos they want taking ask me soon. Also if I am able I am going to try see what happens when I take a magnet close up to the pyramids and record it if it starts spinning as Tom claims it does.
