A song dedicated to Thiaoouba Prophecy

Post: # 6823Post thephantomblue0 »

I'm Si Aura, a hip hop musician. I made a song dedicated on my new cd "illsic" for the thiaoouba prophecy because the book changed my life completely. It's called "Spaceship In Time". This is part one, and is about the first couple chapters of the book.

here's the link for the free download
http://www.siaura.com/music.html

and it's track no.5

and here's the lyrics

I got a friend when I sob
They call him bob
he's got a brother rob
he gots a special job

comes to pick up at night up high in the sky
relax my mind, says we're goin far in a ride

to the otherside of the milky way where he stays
On a planet where its bright, and there happy and gay

First he says to wear some new clothes get gassed all around
to eliminate bacteria from over and down

He says that I can only stay for a little of time
I say its fine, then I say I'm hungry to dine

he gives me water, atleast I think it is
And some bread, a pill to get a clear head,
then puts me in bed

Atleast I think that its a bed, I jump outta my body
my astral spirit follows him, I then meet everybody

I see a big window where they check out a planet
all the vegetation, animals and even the granite

(In this spaceship in time
In this spaceship in time
It confuses my mind
This dimension in time)(chorus x 2)

They help some folks out in some probes they control
All the people look samoan, but there hair like a troll

They see giant mutations of some horrible creatures
with a button they all turn to ashes to feature

then with a mic they speak the native tongue to the crowd
With some probes even repopulate the green on the ground

We drive off to his planet and I see things fantastic
giant birds and large trees perfect shape like a plastic

he says to me this is what we can have with strong will
Says my planet needs a makeover it's sic and it's ill

He says that with the seperation segragation of our nations
equal sour made relations in our man motivations

They're losin patience, cause the gas we're causin killin ourselves
And that the world revolves in 9, so stop usin' the twelves

that technology assists the spiritually, and in the actuality
Its nature that we need, plus sum geometry

In this spaceship in time
In this spaceship in time
It confuses my mind
This dimension in time

In this spaceship in time
In this spaceship in time
It confuses my mind
This dimension in time

Intresting but why am I not impressed  anyone? :pale:

Listen uhmmm... We have some musicians around here on this forum too I myself being one of them. Well I downloaded and listened to it, it didn't make me feel anything at all, I don't know others may have different opinions, I'm just talking about myself.

and about the lyrics well, as far as I can say it doesn't make a point just tells a story vaguely which makes the impression that the subject of you lyrics is too confusing to think about or experience.

I hope my criticism won't let you down, It's just that If you whish we can fully open and discuss everything.

Could you instead write some lyrics about how the message of the book changed your life and in which direction? It's you who is the primary most important thing in the whole universe the book and stories about aliens are important as much as they help us understand that.

Keep it up man, you are far from done we need something that would resonate and would touch souls and hearts :)

by the way... thanks for sharing it with us :)

This song was inspired by the book, not exactly the same "word for word" though, I'm going to make others for different sections and maybe one that may show how my life changed. I'm open for critisism, thanks again 4 listening.

Hi thephantomblue0

I think if you like writeing music in the way you understand it to be, and your writeing it about TP because on some level you feel inspired, then that it a good thing.

Have fun :)
By their deeds shall you know them.

:) There is absolutely no need for a word for word narration, I know and I'm happy that the book has inspired you as much.

The problem is that I whished I could scream a big thank you to you :D and I whish I could enjoy this song as much as you enjoyed reading the book and as much as you enjoyed making it, but it simply didn't happen I couldn't resonate and tune down to it, so I didn't feel anything. :(

What do you yourself think might be the problem? I'm up to downloading and listening to all of your tracks to tell you which one of them I liked most  8) :P

Allright so here it is "4 - No Emotions" I liked it a little bit more than the rest. But anyway maybe you should forget about all of what I said, because I'm not a fan of Hip-Hop and have never truly enjoyed but some of the songs of Eminem. Sorry man, for the trouble.

No problem, track 4 is also my favorite. I really appreciate you listening to it at all, especially since you're not a fan of hip hop, that means so much. thanx again.

the first verse doesn't make sense to me. I'm not very fond of the background music, but I like the way you rap.

I generally agree with the other things Robanan said.
