8,000 years overdue (and 20 years ahead of time)

OK. When you enter Tom's site

http://www.thefreedomofchoice.com/
There is a heading:
Imagine a book that is 8,000 years overdue. (and 20 years ahead of time)

I understand why it is 8000 years overdue. It was before the Priest took over Pharaoh.
Why is the book 20 years ahead of time? Another 14 years to go since first published.

Perhaps it's an assumption of his that it will take some 20 years for people to finally come around / be receptive to ideas such as TFOC.
