Rapa nui kinda got dissed here, for 'cutting the trees down' ... initially I tended to think it was post flood survival stuff, you know, centuries or millennia after the massive statues, bird-men depictions, and platforms were made, with difficult living conditions - anyway.

Over-logging indeed happened there. Question is by who...perhaps I should join the 'home' forum and mention this?
