Not sure if the figures are accurate but it gives food for thought...

4l water to make 1l beer....
55,000l water to produce 1kg beef
High evaporation - 100,000l for 1kg beef
500l water for 1kg potatoes

Is Australias (south east Queenslands, where dams are at below 20%) water crisis actually caused by humans desire for red meat and beer....

Ban the weekend BBQ

Imagine the water required to serve lunch of steak and chips and a beer at the local pub, which happens in countless pubs across the world every day of the week....
They have eyes, but they do not see - ears, but they do not hear...

Ban the Barbie? No WAY man!

Try Coke Co. They use more than most, and that stuff really does damage. Also manufacturing of metal parts/elements uses more water than anyone. Also still some of our pathetic local councils here are running their watering sytems at times that are plain crazy :? eg: while it's raining, or sprinklers spraying the road due to lake of maintainence
Always remember you're unique, like everybody else.

Cotton farming in Australia is a serious culprit, BUT I would not like to see us depend on other countires. Surely water boring at the expense of the 'government' is not too much to ask for, is it? farmers need our help and rightfully so!
an act against {free will} is an act against nature
