I'm in the 15-25 range

I think most people on this forum are in the 15-30 range, part of the young generation that was stressed in TP as being very important

‘The young generations on Earth are in the process of self-examination. They
have come to a turning point - events have led them to it and I know that they
feel alone, more than any younger generation has before them. It isn’t by joining
sects or religious groups that they are going to be free of their solitude.
‘First if you want to ‘elevate’ yourself, you must meditate and then concentrate,
which is different, although often the two are confused. You do not need to go
to a special place, for the greatest and most beautiful temple of man is inside
himself. There, he can enter into communication with his Higher-self, by
concentration; asking his higher-self to help him surmount his Earthly, material
difficulties. But certain people need to communicate with other human beings,
like themselves, and they can meet together for this purpose.
Those of them who
are more experienced, will be able to give advice, but no one should ever adopt a
position as master.

‘The young generation of whom I have just spoken, are rising up on your planet
and realising, little by little, the truth of many of the things I have been talking
about. But they must learn to look inside themselves for their answers. They
should not wait for help to come to them from elsewhere, or they will be
disappointed.’

nah...I was thinking that as a result of increasing pressure of materialism and the need to survive in the material world, person like me who is new in career might just give up completely the idea of thiaoouba prophecy and the freedom of choice than to suffer the difficulty to reconcile overwhelmed materialism with spirituality. That could explain the lack of people around 30s and above. People who are younger tend to be more idealistic.

well expressed, but isn't that sad?
i've been suffering from 'the difficulty to reconcile overwhelmed materialism with spirituality' for some 3 years, since my 2nd encounter with TP. but i haven't given up on it since. of course, the reason for a 2nd encournter was that upon the 1st encounter earlier, i'd rejoiced at the discovery, and thought about it, and then felt the agony because it didn't seem possible to reconcile the materialistic world and spirituality, and then buried the idea somewhere in memory, and succumb to the 'real' world, which i now find is becoming less and less real.

Run poll for XY Days [ Enter 0 or leave blank for a never-ending poll ]

Maybe you can edit your first Post with the Poll...If you can`t...An Admin can (He can change it also directly in the Database If "edit" in this case [Poll] for him doesn`t work) ;-)

I'm 15. I'm so gratefull I stumbled across the book at this age. Its opened my mind to what I suspected to be true all along, and now that I know the truth, I can make better decisions about my life and my future, which I'm doing a lot these days. :)

Hello Lena,

Welcome to the forum!

It is indeed simply great you read the book at such an early age, no doubt it will help you significantly at a time when you need to start making more serious choices. I guess access to the Internet helped encounter the book?
Do you REALLY practice meditation? If your REALLY do, do you practice a GOOD method? Are you sure this is REALLY so?

Personally, I am 22, so again in the 15-25 range.
yea, Google is a miracle.
It sure is. about 5 years ago I had talked to a friend on IRC about some strange experiences I had had, and she told me it sounded like astral travel (although she was way off). I punched 'astral travel' up on google, and thiaoouba.com was right at the top. The rest, they say, is history. I wonder how much the people of Thiaoouba are paying google for top listing.

Regardless, it is paying off immensely. If thiaoouba.com had been on page 16, most of us are so impatient we would never have found it admidst all the rubbish.
