New solar cells cost 30 cents a watt

Discussion on technology and how it could be used to assist spiritual development and NOT enslave us. This includes technology that will help us live in harmony with Nature (e.g.: "Lifter" technologies that could replace the petrol driven engine). Also, discussion of past and current scientific thought so that gems are not buried in the sands of time, and spiritual progress through science is achieved.

As mentioned in the article, this is the first time a solar cell innovation produced solar panels cheaper than coal :) Should be interesting to follow..

Government trying to prevent this discovery...

It seems that the government will do anything to prevent people from changing to solar energy in thier own ignorance for power and wealth...

The wisdom of our governors in all its glory.
Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.

If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them.

here is a solar-site that I found recently, more 'low' tech than nanosolar, but decidedly clever in application:

I like the 'octagon parabolic' food-oven.
