A very significant shift in mass consciousness happened in the late 1980's or 1989 to be exact. The mass consciousness level of mankind jumped from 190 to 207 and for the first time in recorded history the mass consciousness level was above 200. Anyone familiar with Dr. Hawkins work will know what I talk about. People not familiar with this work is referred to my post on this: (2012, Cataclysm and the Big Picture) http://www.goldenplanetforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1101
Below 200 victim consciousness thrives. This has been humanity's lot for too long. When the mass consciousness is above 200 (which is the first level of integrity and empowerment) there is real hope that mankind (if we are indeed kind) can make the transition to higher levels of existence. Anyway, my post above explains much more about this...

by going online and talking - compared to tv it is better, but its still not meditation, and I can admit its easier for me to do this more than I am able to get myself to meditate....
although it doesn't take me very long to achieve a silence, as ive been trained and remember some of the 'techniques', of course technique isnt enough either, theres the inner component only that can take you to the deeper levels.
that parallel processing is quite logical yet natural also.
Heres a thought: temporary focus eventually finds a material [denser] 'expression,' while permanent focus cannot, because it doesn't have time to change its state of being as it has infinite inertia, or no 'friction.' [material reality being temporary]
