question after reading that. How much older, could it be even as old as suggested, as even *earlier* egyptian dynastic times [or more]? which span quite a ways... anyhow, it'd suggest the metals involved were very well made. so, have fun with it. I sure did

I realize that antikythera gears are not exactly "antigravity" material, and even less so likely to be pre-diluvean [in the nomenclature of donnely] but, it certainly was, like the didongyi, quite an interesting device, in my opinion.
