After watching the demonstration (you need to watch less than 11 minutes of the video from its beginning), I searched for the person's name associated with the concept of overunity. I came across the following recent discussion (started April 27, 2006), http://www.overunity.com/index.php/topic,973.0.html, topic name "Very simple magnet motor principle". It discusses the video. Then I followed a link provided in one of the posts, http://jnaudin.free.fr/html/hamspin.htm, and noted from its page:
This prompted me to watch the movie again, and, indeed, if one looks carefully, I think one can see on at least two occasions that the bottom magnet stops spinning unless the person demonstrating, named George Green, moves the upper magnet a little after a while. If so, it would contradict the claim of the speaker that the movement is perpetual. Of course, I cannot be entirely sure, but the demonstration is without doubt both inconclusive and, given the claim, very suspicious. I've found more clues that this may not have been a genuine presentation.I can keep it spinning by moving and tilting the upper assy slowly from side to side. This changes the force vector to one side of the ring/ball and precession takes over. This MANUAL ALTERATION (with hands !!) of the force vector and precession is the reason of the result spin. If you put the magnetic gate in a fixed position, the Hamel spinner disc begin to spin but stops after a short time.......
A post on the abovelinked overunity.com topic refers to http://theverylastpageoftheinternet.com ... mus007.htm, which contains a free video demonstrating a "Hamel/Trovato Spinner-Motor". Still, the page also states that no permanent movement (rotation) of the bottom magnet has been achieved:
Trovato clearly refers to the name of the person who wrote in the above paragraph that he made the advancements and modifications, and who conducted the experiment.I made several simple advancements and several modifications to original
Hamel design... 20 full rotations was what I achieved so far at best...
You must build this thing if you are serious about permanent
magnet motors - to see it in action, click the Play button above.
The number 20 almost seems like not enough but when the thing is flying
off the table its hard to say its stopping )
There is also http://jnaudin.free.fr/html/hfrnrgen.htm but it reads at the bottom "This device is under construction, and NOT FULLY TESTED".
In the video, George Green claims the information about the device comes from Billy Meier's aliens (Meier has been discussed on goldenplanetforum.com's topic "Billy Meier's Henoch Prophecies; On Billy Meier"). George Green also claims in the video that he has direct contact with those aliens as well, and the abovelinked http://www.overunity.com topic mentions his web site, http://www.nomorehoaxes.com. Another person named David Hamel (mentioned on the overunity.com topic as well) claims information about a seemingly identical device came from aliens from the planet Kladen. From http://www.davidhamel.com/David-Hamel/H ... index.html (the emphasis in bold is mine):
Looking for the mentioned video, I clicked "Video and Book info", leading to http://www.davidhamel.com/David-Hamel/Hamel-Order.html. The videos are to be purchased. A single video can be had for the price of $30 and a $99 item reads "WOW!-Hamel Works Special: Order the whole works for only $99.00 (4 videos), We will also throw in the Postage Free!". These prices and the "WOW-Super-Special"-type labels (that exact phrase is elsewhere on the page) is not a good sign.Amazing: Perpetual Motion ...using $5.00 magnets !!!
One of his favorite simple perpetual motion demonstrations is where David takes two ring magnets about 4 inches in diameter and a ball bearing about 3 inches in diameter (as shown left), all of which are in the proper physical dimensions. He aligns them in a certain way on his kitchen table and then the ball bearing and one of the ring magnets start to spin like a top, without using any type of battery or other materials. He gave the three pieces to me and helped me to align them all up correctly. Low and behold, the bearing spun. (This demo and other Prototypes are also shown and described on the Video). You won't believe it until it spins in your own hand.
What about other technology reportedly coming from aliens via Hamel? In an interview, he says at http://www.davidhamel.com/David-Hamel/H ... index.html:
Hmm. Hamel has also been previously mentioned on the forum. See "Other E.T. contact stories" in the "General Discussion" forum. My perception and doubt stated there remains."At his shop and home in Gilmore, you can ask David why there is no final prototype yet of his 'ancient' ship?, and his reply will be: "Look here, this 4 inch granite ball costs me $300. This pinions is custom made out of sold granite. It cost's me $3,000. I have 12 of them here. That's Why!
"Some times 'men in black' (Government workers, NASA, Aliens, who knows?) come in with a big truck and take his stuff. Then he as to start buying all over again. This is the reason why there is no final prototype. "...But I will keep working until my final days" says David.
Out of all the so called free energy things (tests) I have looked at over the years this one looks to be the easiest to recreate, so I am careful not the throw the baby out with the bath water.
It may well not be but it is interesting, some times when you start in one place it is the wrong place but by starting it leads you to another.
In relation to David hamel selling his stuff, you know Vesko, everybody is selling something, take a look….
Just mentioning to others, Lutec has been discussed on this forum as well (you can search). They haven't posted a 2006 update yet.shezmear wrote:I think the demonstration was interesting, they all look to be a bit nutty and the more I read about them and what they say the more I don’t want to read, however I can recreate this test at home, I have been following the lutec hear in Australia and they seem to be coming along well.
I'm careful, too -- as I've written in the previous post, I am not entirely sure if it's fake.Out of all the so called free energy things (tests) I have looked at over the years this one looks to be the easiest to recreate, so I am careful not the throw the baby out with the bath water.
Indeed. It may well not be but it is interesting, some times when you start in one place it is the wrong place but by starting it leads you to another.
I know what you are referring to. To me, the way it is done in Hamel's case is one bad sign but it alone does not invalidate the case for me. I have other problems with the case but I will consider them more before trying to explain them to others. In relation to David hamel selling his stuff, you know Vesko, everybody is selling something, take a look….
I have read other books that talks of free energy, something like connecting a wire to your electricity box then installing an antenna (a bit more completed than I've explained) has anyone read the same and or tried this experiment (very very carefully)?
